Get To Know Us

The developer of The Sunnyslope Ranch event venue is a family-owned real estate investment company and operator focused on land acquisition, entitlement, and construction of world class entertainment experiences. One of the founders grew up in the Treasure Valley.

The firm’s founding members have a 45-year track record of developing award-winning projects in Northern California.
They have spent the last 25 years developing and operating The Mountain Winery in Saratoga California, a nationally recognized concert and event venue. The historic venue dates to 1905 and was renovated by this group in 1999 to expand its concert seating capacity and offer a one-of-a-kind event experience for guests looking to enjoy superior musical performances along with gourmet dining and hospitality experiences.

Given The Mountain Winery’s national acclaim, the founders have focused their attention on strategically identifying other regions in the country to deliver the same entertainment concept. The growth in the Boise area attracted the group to this exciting region with the goal of providing a world-class 5,000-seat capacity outdoor amphitheater that would also be suitable for special and corporate events.

With sights set on the greater Treasure Valley region, the group found its next home to bring superior talent to the stage in the beautiful Sunnyslope area set on a hillside with dramatic sunset views over the Snake River and Owyhee Mountains.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does this benefit wineries / businesses?
This new venue provides an attraction in the region that will help bring more people to the area that would not normally visit, helping increase visitations to tasting rooms and businesses in the area and ultimately creating the opportunity for more businesses to form and existing ones to grow. We plan to serve wines local to the Sunnyslope region and plan to work with the wine community in Sunnyslope to host wine festival type events.
What are the benefits the venue provides to the region?
We will be creating approximately 200 jobs in the region once we are operating and many more jobs during the development and construction phase of the project. There will be additional economic benefits in the surrounding communities with the increased visitation to the region that will ultimately drive business to local wineries, restaurants, shops and hotels. The venue will provide cultural benefits as well, further developing the entertainment ecosystem
